Brownies is a 2004 Indonesian film directed by Hanung Bramantyo. It is about a career woman who falls for an entrepreneur over their mutual love of brownies. Produced by SinemArt. With some actress and actors like Marcella zalianty,Bucek Depp,Philips yusuf,Renia, arie untung.
Mel (Marcella Zalianty) is a young creative director at an advertising agency who is to engaged Joe (Philip Jusuf). However, she catches him having sex with another woman and breaks off their relationship. This devastates Mel, who becomes incapable of bearing the sight of him and destroys their pictures together. For revenge she begins flirting with numerous men. However, her best friend Didi (Elmayana Sabrena) convinces her to not become like Joe.
Didi takes her to a local café, where Are (Bucek Depp), an aspiring novelist, loans books and serves brownies. Although Mel loves eating the chocolate confections, she cannot cook them well; Are, meanwhile, cooks delicious brownies but has not them since his mother died. The two spend time together and eventually begin falling in love, despite their class differences: Are was once a street child, while Mel has been raised wealthy. They are able to reconcile these differences, and Are gives Mel hints on cooking brownies. However, Mel continues to have feelings for Joe and, when he invites her to dinner, does not come to Are’s birthday; she is later disappointed when Joe reveals that he had intended a business dinner. Not long after Are has finished writing his novel – with Mel as his publicist – Joe says he is willing to break off his relationship with his new fiancée Astrid (Luna Maya) and return to Mel, if Mel can help him break up with her. Mel tells Are that she cannot come to the launch, which upsets him. Before she can leave for the dinner, Didi accosts her and tells Mel that she has become just like Joe, breaking people’s hearts. After several hours contemplating and cooking brownies, Mel decides to go to the launch but arrives after it is over. She goes to a nearby park where they had often dated, hoping to find him. As she sits crying, disappointed at not seeing him, Are comes behind her and the two confess their love, walking away together and sharing a brownie.
Brownies director’s Hanung Bramantyo used high definition video according to Bramantyo, it was the first Indonesian films to use the technology. Bramantyo had previously directed several television series and films, but Brownies was his first film meant to be commercial, The title was chosen because Bramantyo liked eating brownies.

Review text “Negeri 5 Menara”

NEGERI 5 MENARA

Negeri 5 Menara is a movie adapted from a best selling Indonesian novel. It took at Gontor 1, Ponorogo,East Java Province. The director of this film is Affandi Abdul Rahman. Before releasing this film, the crew of N5M hold an audition to search the actor who was the same caracters with Alif, Raja, Said, Dulmajid, Atang and Baso. And then the crew of N5M find some actor, they are Gazza Zubirazzeta(Alif),Ernest Samudera(Said), Billy Sandi(Baso),Rizky Ramdani(Atang),Aris Adnanda Putra(Dulmajid), and Jiofani Lubis(Raja).
Alif,the main role,was born in Maninjau. He has dreams. He wants continue his study in ITB. But when he graduate from junior high school, his mother wants Alif to go to cottage(Islamic Boarding house) in Gontor,Ponorogo,East Java Province.
The first impressions when Alif come in there, he was shock with srict rules. Yet the next day he can adapt and make a goo friendship with Baso from Gowa, Atang from Bandung, Raja from Medan, Said form Surabaya, and Dulmajid from Madura. Starting from habit gathered under towewr, they called themselves ”Sahibul Menara” or who have the tower. They dream and promise to get that dream one day. Alif dream, he wants master of Arabic and English language. Then, he wants study in ITB like Habibie, then going to America.
Man Jadda Wa Jadda is the mantra which his teacher given. With that mantra they all can reach their dreams.
Negeri 5 Menara is a good film. This film is interesting, full of wisdom and inspiration. The spirit of actors is never ending. With the mantra “Man Jadda Wa Jadda” we can grow our motivation until we can reach our dreams. Beside that, Negeri 5 Menara is inspiring film. When you watch the film without reading the book before, you’re inspirated and you will say great or beautiful story. But if you read the novel before watching the movie, you will be little disappointed. You know why? Because the part of the novel is missing in the film.
Negeri 5 Menara is not perfect.The film only runs of two hours. Consequently, it’s not able to show the complete story plot. Apart from its weakness , this film is statisfactory and inspiring.

Obat itu pahit,tetapi menyembuhkan.
Gagal itu perih,tetapi mensukseskan.
Bila kita tak pernah gagal kita tidak akan pernah berfikir untuk mencari jalan keluar,tidak pernah tahu caranya bangkit,dan tidak mengerti arti kesabaran.
Kegagalan itu memang perih dirasa,tapi sangat berguna untuk bekal kehidupan di masa depan.
Kita akan belajar bagaimana agar kegagalan itu tidak terulang lagi di kemudian hari,kita akan berusaha mencegahnya sekuat tenaga,dan tentu kita akan selalu belajar melakukan yang terbaik di setiap kesempatan yang ada.
Biarlah butiran air mata itu jatuh hari ini,ketimbang berjatuhan di kemudian hari.
Dan harapan yang tak pernah pudar adalah obat segalanya.
Tetap gantungkanlah semua harapan itu pada Sang Maha Pemilik Keindahan Allah SWT.

Jika saja Allah langsung mengabulkan setiap do’a kita, maka bisa jadi semuanya selesai begitu saja. Kita tidak lagi berdo’a untuk meminta, padahal Allah senang ketika hambaNya meminta. Bisa jadi kita menghentikan setiap usaha, karena telah mendapatkan apa yang kita minta. Padahal dari usaha usaha yang kita lakukan itulah, kita mendapatkan banyak pelajaran. Kita menjadi bisa dari tidak bisa. Jika saja setiap yang kita minta langsung diberikan olehNya, Maka kapankah kita akan mengenal sabar? 
Hamba yakin rencana Mu sangat sempurna Ya Rabb. 

Lama aku niatkan untuk tafakur,melihat karya-karya Tuhan yang Maha Agung,dari bintang-bintang yang bertebaran di langit,bulan yang indah penuh pesona,angin malam yang berhembus perlahan menyapa rambut-rambut ikal ku ini.
Jika kamu ingin tahu seberapa hebat Tuhan mu,maka cukuplah kamu melihat ciptaan-ciptaan Nya yang Maha Dahsyat,Maha Hebat dan Maha Indah.
Dengan itu kamu akan faham bahwa sungguh hebat Sang Pencipta mu itu.

Apa yang menarik kita untuk Ferrari sebagai subjek foto adalah berani mereka, padat, warna dasar dan styling mereka cemerlang murni.
